Refresher Hypnobirthing Course 

As with any skills, if it's been a while since you have practiced them, it can be really useful to revisit and refresh your skills - this is no different with hypnobirthing. It may have been a couple of years since your last birth and you want to brush up and rediscover the magic of hypnobirthing, ready to use again to help support you to have the birth that you want.

 

This is a condensed version of the full hypnobirthing course, and is designed for those who have completed a hypnobirthing course in  a previous pregnancy and would like to revisit their hypnobirthing skills ready to feel calm and prepared for the birth of their next baby. As this is a one-to-one course, this can be tailored to your particular needs and areas you would like to focus on.

This 3 hour session is delivered to you and your birth partner, it recaps the essentials of Hypnobirthing, and will leave you feeling more prepared, confident and positive ready to embrace upcoming birth.

You will supported holistically and realistically to feel empowered, prepared and ready to experience your birth with excited anticipation, so you can enjoy the rest of your pregnancy, and go on and have the birth that is right for you.​​

What the course covers: 

This will be a relaxed and informal session bespoke to your individual needs, but a suggested format may include:

  • A refresher of all the key elements of hypnobirthing and how it can turn any fear and into calm and excitement.

  • How your previous birth experience can impact your next birth, and how you can work with that. 

  • Birthing hormones and how to optimise them.

  • creating the ideal birthing environment, and birth partner role.

  • Birthing physiology and how to support it. 

  • Informed and empowered decision making:

    • including navigating the maternity system​

  • Birth plans and preferences

  • Interactive learning.

  • Questions and discussion invited and encouraged throughout.

Private one-to-one Hypnobirthing Refresher Course lasting 3 hours.

Courses take place in the comfort of your own home in Hertfordshire & North London - or can be delivered online if you prefer, or live outside of the locality.
